Evan's 3D Painting - Beaded Zebra (25cm x 25cm)

Evans Mundawarara is a Shona artist originally from Zimbabwe. He moved to South Africa in 2006 and has lived there ever since. Evans is a talented creative who specialises in wire art and also explores painting.

His journey in art began at a young age—around eight years old—when he started crafting wire cars, animals, and other figures. He grew up in a small mining town called Mhangura in the Mashonaland West Province. His father, a plant operator at the local mine, would bring home bits of copper wire to support and encourage Evans' budding artistic talent.

Since relocating to Durban, Evans has taken his craft seriously and has grown into a professional artist with work displayed across the world.
