This striking artwork is a visual expression of hope in motion — inspired by the relentless efforts of those working to protect the rhino, whose survival has come to symbolise the global fight against poaching.

Yet long before the rhino’s story became one of tragedy, it was a revered figure across Africa. It appeared on clan totems, and perhaps most famously, in the form of an 800-year-old golden statue discovered in Mapungubwe, a once-thriving ancient kingdom in South Africa.

Standing massive and mighty, the rhino evokes both awe and respect. The white rhino is known for its calm presence — until her calf is threatened. Then, she embodies a ferocity equal to thirty men. In contrast, the black rhino, unpredictable and bold, will charge with no warning.

This artwork is a tribute — not just to the creature itself, but to the courage of those who defend it. It carries a message that transcends species:
